Designed to process massive logs up to 72″ in diameter, it’s driven by your excavator’s auxiliary system, utilizing a 6” x 30″ cylinder and a hydraulic flow range of 20 to 75 GPM for efficient and fast performance. Because the cylinder is housed inside the 5/8” thick steel frame with 5/8” reinforcements, you don’t need to have any worries about treating this splitter roughly.
With the operator working comfortably behind the controls, the 6209 offers great visibility and more than enough power to crack the largest knotty rounds. A good operator can simply swing around and split the logs directly into a bin or trailer. The ultimate setup for a large pile of logs that can’t be moved by hand or split with a conventional wood splitter.
