Log Splitter 3455 / 3465

The Split-fire 3455/3465 gas powered log splitter is the perfect machine for medium farms and large estates. In certain cases, it is also used in equipment rental locations. The 20-22 tons of splitting force has plenty of power to split large 36”+ diameter rounds. Although similar in power and speed to the 3255/3265 log splitter, the 3455/3465 offers an interchangeable 2-way / 4-way knife. And no, it’s not just an added 2-way / 4-way knife. The frame is lengthened and reinforced, along with specific 4-way sliders, stops, and stub.

  1. Received my 3265 the other day. Package well. No damage shipping it to me. Used the splitter 2 days so far. Splitting elm right now and it has no problem with it, anything from 6 inch rounds to 2 feet in diameter, knots and all. Customer service has been great to deal with thus far. Very happy customer, so far

  3. The pictures above are from a Split-Fire 255 that my neighbour owns in Canada. I have been splitting wood on this machine since he purchased it in 2002. In that time, it has split well over a thousand cords of wood. The wood was used to heat 3 homes for the last 21 years. In that time, I don’t think it has ever not started or needed repair.
During covid my neighbour passed away he was ill and died while the border was closed. The machine sat for 2 years unused. When we were allowed back into the country, I borrowed it and it started on the very first pull. Last fall I split 5 or 6 cords on his machine with no issue pictures above. While at home in the states I was slitting wood for my home with my splitter (not a Split-Fire). I must say it was painfully slow at that time I decided sell my splitter and purchase one of my own Split-Fire machines which I am hoping to take possession of next week. I can’t tell you how happy I was with my neighbour’s machine; I look forward to working with my new machine.

    Thank You,

  4. What a machine! It has made the job so much easier and is certainly “less tiring”. The quality is obvious with the Honda engine and splitting capability. This has been my 3rd. firewood season year using this splitter. It actually makes me look forward to getting out there and doing some splitting.

  6. I’ve split hundreds of cords of wood with the machine over the last 15 years. Very reliable and excellent design. It’s a joy to use, one of the best equipment purchases I’ve ever made.

  8. Very pleased with my Split-Fire firewood splitter purchase to date. There was a small hiccup within the first couple hours of use but the team at Split-Fire had that sorted in short time. Since then I have run a decent amount of wood through it and it has performed flawlessly. Thanks again for great service and product!
